Axis bank, formely known as Unit Trust of India(UTI) is the third largest private sector bank in India, which began it's operations from 1994. Axis bank has vast operations with 2904 domestic branches and 12,743 ATMs spread across India and nine international offices. Axis Bank provides home loan to the customer who are eligible as per the banks guidelines and who can repay the loan without defaulting. Below mentioned are some of the criteria for securing home loan from Axis bank.

Salaried Individuals:

  • If he/she is a permanent Govt. employee or a permanent employee of a reputed private company.
  • If he/she lies between the age limit of 24 years and the age of retirement.

Professionals:

  • If he/she is a professional established in his/her own field like architects, cost accountants, chartered accountants, company secretary, dentists, doctors, management consultants or engineers.
  • If he/she is a person of age limit from 24(loan commencement time) years to 65(loan maturity time) years

Self Employed Individuals:

  • If he/she fulfills the Income Tax returns
  • If he/she is a person of age limit from 24(loan commencement time) years to 65(loan maturity time) years

Charges and Rate of interests on AXIS Bank Home Loan:

Home Buyers can borrow the AXIS Bank Home Loan at fixed or floating interest rates. If he/she chooses the fixed interest rate then it will be flat 14.00% for any amount of loan. But if he/she prefers floating interest rate then it will be 8.75% up to 30 Lacs and 9.25% for more than 30 Lacs.

Service tax of 1% of total loan amount will be charged as loan processing charges.

Axis Bank Home Loan Grievance Redressal:

Axis Bank is committed to provide the best possible customer services to its existig customers. Axis bank provides three step grievance redressal system.

You will receive a response within 2 working days. If this does not meet your expectations then proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Send an email to the nodal officer (nodal.officer@axisbank.com), you can also send an second level email online via the link-  Axis Bank Online Home Loan complaints level 2 or fill the Axis Bank Home loan Grievance form and post it to the Nodal officer address provided in the form - Axis Bank Grievance Form . You will receive a response within 10 working days. If you are still not satisfied with resolution provided then proceed to step 3.

Step 3: Send an email to the principal nodal officer (pno@axisbank.com), you can also send an third level email online via the link-  Axis Bank Online Home Loan complaints level 3 or fill the Axis Bank Home loan complaint form and post it to the Senior Vice President address provided in the form - Axis Bank Complaint Form . You will receive a response within 10 working days. If you are still not satisfied with resolution provided then proceed to step 3.

 If the above three steps do not solve your problem then you can directly approach the Banking Ombudsman as per the Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006.
