'''Aaj Tak''' is a 24-hour Hindi News channel owned by TV Today Network. It claims to be number one Hindi news channel in India having a tag line Nationals Best News Channel. The channel has been awarded Indian Television Academy’s Best News Channel award for six consecutive years.

Aaj Tak is a free to air channel in India and it is offered as a payable channel in the abroad market. Aaj Tak had started as a 20 minutes news and current affairs program during the year 1995. In 2000 Aaj Tak was made as 24 Hindi news channel.

Aaj Tak was rewarded as most believable and important news channel by the BBC/Media centre poll recently. The channel has expansively beating the news sources like Air India, Sun TV, NDTV, and Times of India and surpassing even the Government sponsored channel Doordarshan. In United States the channel is available on EchoStar’s SISH Network.

In recent years, Aaj Tak has moved to Infotainment from being a pure news channel.
