Anna University

Anna University is one of the premier Universities in India. It was formed in 1978 by integrating two technical institutions. Located in the southern part of Chennai, the main campus is over 100 hectares and has the College of Engineering, Guindy in it. The second popular campus of this university is the Madras Institute of Technology, Chrompet. At present it has 225 Self-financing Engineering colleges, 6 Government Engineering Colleges and 3 Government-aided Engineering Colleges under its fold.

Anna University Admissions

Students seeking admission to any of the colleges in Anna University has to apply in a common application form available with the University. Based on the student’s Higher Secondary Course marks, they will be called for counseling. Single Window Admission System is followed by which a student with good marks will be called earlier to select the college in which he/she needs admission.

Anna University Placement and Training

The Centre for University Industry Collaboration takes care of the placement for the students of this university. Established in 1981, this centre is very active in Placement and Industry Institute Interaction. Over 150 companies from India and abroad come to the campus through this centre and recruit students every year. This centre has the autonomy status.
