Anup Sridhar is a professional right handed badminton player from India. he was born on 11 April 1983 in Bangalore, India. He is the present captain of the Indian Thomas Cup. He had made India to reach the quarterfinals of the Asian Continental Championships and the semifinals of the German Opens. He was rated among the top 10 Indians at the World Championship. In 2007, he became the top Indian badminton player with a ranking of 25. In 2008, he won the Pramod Mahajan All-India ranking tournament which was held in New Delhi. He also took part in the Men's Singles event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In the same year he achieved the world ranking 24, which also madehis highest ranking.
