Basava Academy of Engineering, Bangalore was established in the year 2002 by Sri Belimatha Maha Samathana Socio Cultural Education Trust. Academy is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum and approved by AICTE.

Courses Offered at Basava Academy of Engineering:

Basava Academy of Engineering offers following under graduate courses in engineering :

  • B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (intake 60)
  • B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering (intake 60)
  • B.E in Computer Science & Engineering (intake 60)

Apart from above, Bachelor degree in Bio Technology discipline is also proposed.

Basava Academy of Engineering Admission Procedure:

Candidate should be 10+ 2 passed with minimum 35% marks in Physics, chemistry and mathematics and should have a valid rank in Karnataka CET conducted by state government / COMED-K conducted by association of private colleges / AIEEE.

Basava Academy of Engineering Fee Structure:

Out of total available seats, 75% seats will be allotted under CET quota and rest 25% seats will be allotted under COMED-K / MGMT quota.

  • Fee for free seats under CET quota is Rs. 15,000/- pa.
  • Fee for payment seats under CET quota is RS. 25,000/- pa.
  • Fee under COMED-K / Mgmt / NRI quota is Rs. 75,000/- pa.

Placements at Basava Academy of Engineering:

College has formed separate Training & Placement cell which conducts academic and vocational trainings, provides industry projects to pre final and final year students and pre placement guidance to students.
