The Bengal College of Engineering and Technology

The Bengal College of Engineering and Technology was established by the SKS Educational and Social Trust in the year 2001. The objective of the college was to impart quality education in Engineering and Technology. Its aim is always maintain a liaison with the industries on one hand and the premier engineering institutions. The motto of the institution is to transform their students into professionals.

Facilities

The Bengal College of Engineering and Technology has been growing in stature ever since it was established in 2001. The infrastructure of the college is very good and has great reviews from people in the field. The campus is very well built, with airy classrooms and labs with the latest design and technology. The hostels for the students is built well as well as maintained according to the highest standards. All these top class facilities make the college a great place to study, research and learn for the students.

There have been a lot of high profile ministers and dignitaries that have visited the college campus. They include the West Bengal Chief Minister, Mr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, and ministers like Gopal Choudhury, Shri Subhash Chakraborty, Shri Surya Kanta Misra etc.

Admission to the course are done throught Joint Entrance Exam which is conducted by the West Bengal Board of Examination for Engineering & Technology as well as through the All India Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the CBSE Board. Then a counseling session is held in Kolkata followed by the candidate’s presence 3 days after the counseling at the Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, Durgapur.
