Bhopal Shatabdi Express- 2

The demand for luxurious and high class travel from Bhopal to New Delhi and from New Delhi to Bhopal is so high that Indian Railways runs two Shatabdi trains on this route. The second Bhopal Shatabdi Express bears numbers 2001A and 2002A. Some of the important stops that this train passes through include Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra and Mathura.

Bhopal Shatabdi Express 2001A runs from Bhopal to New Delhi. The train consists of 1st AC and AC Chair car seats only. This train runs on Fridays only. It is pertinent to note that Bhopal Shatabdi Express runs on all days other than Friday. With this train, the service becomes a weekly one. The train begins its journey at 2.55 PM and reaches its destination at 11:00 PM. In all, the train takes 8 hours and 5 minutes to cover the distance of 701 kms. The fare for the 1st AC ticket is Rs. 1585 and the fare for the AC Chair car ticket is Rs. 835. Morena is a stop that this train makes along with the stops mentioned above.

Bhopal Shatabdi Express 2002A runs from New Delhi to Bhopal. It leaves at 6.15 AM and reaches at 2.20 PM. This train too operates on Fridays only. The fare costs Rs. 1610 for 1st AC ticket and Rs. 850 for AC Chair Car seats
