Birla Vidya Niketan was established in the year 1982. It is a co-educational English medium school with 3500 students’ studying at the school. The school is affiliated to the CBSE Board and recognized by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT Delhi.
The school follows the NCERT curriculum at various levels. In the 11th and 12th standard the school offers Science and Commerce streams.
Infrastructure Facilities at Birla Vidya Niketan
The Birla Vidya Niketan school is spread in the sprawling campus of 6 acres. Various facilities are provided to the students within the campus. The school building has office, classrooms, counselor’s room, Medical room, Science and computer labs. The school has provided each student with a locker facility where the students can keep their books.
The school has a library containing books, encyclopedia, journals, newspapers, cassettes and CDs. The school also has a bookstore that remains open during the school hours. There is a canteen named Sampurna in the school campus of Birla Vidya Niketan.
The sports infrastructure includes the Gymnasium, Skating rink, Badminton court, lawn tennis court and a six lane swimming pool.

The co-curricular activities supported by the school includes Art, Vocal Hindustani, Instrumental music western dance, Clay Modeling, Yoga, Food and Nutrition, Textile designing, Flower arrangement, Embroidery, Meal Planning, Cookery forms a part of the curriculum.
The well equipped indoor and outdoor sports infrastructure makes the students to learn various sports such as Swimming, Skating, Gymnastics, Horse riding, and Yoga.
