• BSNL provides the download speed from 256 Kbps to 8 Mbps. It provides an always on internet access which enables multicasting, VPN services, video and audio conferencing. The pc requires to have one 10/100 Ethernet Port for the connection.
• MTNL provides both broadband and triband internet services. The broadband download speed of MTNL varies from minimum of 256 Kbps to 4 Mbps for the unlimited plans. For the limited plans the download speed also varies from minimum 256 Kbps to 4 Mbps. Separate charges are applicable for the connections.
• Sify broadband provides minimum download speed of 256 Kbps 500 MHz or higher processor Windows 95/98/2000/XP/NT, CD-ROM drive minimum of 64 MB RAM to get the broadband connection.
• Tata Indicom has different broadband plans like wire line internet, wireless internet with their respective prices and downloading speeds. This service provides internet speed of minimum 300 Kbps to maximum of 1.5 Mbps. The wired broadband plan allows unlimited download from 10 pm at the night to 8am.
• Airtel has various broadband internet packages with speed of minimum 256 Kbps to 1 Mbps, unlimited data transfer up to 8 GB.
• Reliance broadband download speed starts with 256 Kbps to maximum speed of 4 Mbps. The annual tariffs vary according to the respective plan.
