What is CBSE?

Central Board of Secondary Education is abbreviated as CBSE. CBSE code is the examination syllabus of the secondary examinations. It is a national level syllabus that is followed throughout India in the same standard (same syllabus throughout India). There are many schools that are recognized throughout India and each school is given a number that is unique and it can be followed for the affiliation and the results purpose.

Based on this number, the students are allocated their register number for exams and they can see the results when in the internet for their corresponding register number. These register numbers are unique.

To know the affiliation number or the CBSE code of each school you can surf the internet. All the affiliation numbers are available in the internet or you can contact the school directly for the code.

What is the purpose of this CBSE code?

The main purpose of the CBSE code is to avoid the schools running without authorization. This will help the public to know whether the school is an authorized one or not.

What is the benefit of a CBSE school?

When a student studies in a CBSE school, if his parents are transferred he can get admission in the CBSE School that is present in that particular location because the same syllabus is followed throughout the CBSE schools.
