Calcutta Public School was established in 1995 in the Northern region of Kolkata. It is co-educational English medium school affiliated to the ICSE Board and ISC Board. The school imparts education from Nursery level up to the higher secondary level. The school has all the three streams namely Science, Commerce and Humanities at the higher secondary level.
The school operates in two shifts, Morning shift for nursery, primary school and higher secondary section whereas the Afternoon shift is for the secondary school section of Calcutta Public School.
Infrastructure facilities at Calcutta Public School
The Calcutta Public School has three separate laboratories each for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The School has a computer lab well equipped with 20 computers, a library with a reading room and collection of more than 8000 books.
The school has a medical center where the students can receive immediate medical help in case of medical emergencies. The Calcutta Public School also conducts regular health check ups.
Sports and Co-curricular activities at Calcutta Public School
Calcutta Public School has different clubs for activities related to sports, nature, library and culture. The Club activities are conducted under the guidance of the teachers. The School also publishes a periodical giving information about the different events organized in the school.
The school also has a spots club that arranges various sports related events for the students to participate and learn sportsmanship.
