Cancellation Of E-Tickets And I-Tickets
The systems of internet tickets and e-tickets have facilitated the customers and passengers a lot. These systems of online booking enable the customers to book the tickets much fast and without any efforts. Previously the customers had to stand in the long queues, fill the reservation form and then collect the tickets. But now the tickets are available within a few seconds with just a click of the mouse!
The customer can get as well as cancel these tickets.
To cancel the internet tickets or e-tickets the customer will have to visit the same site again. The internet tickets can be cancelled across any computerized reservation counter in any city within the normal time allowed on following day through the present gate way electronically.
The internet tickets which cannot be called off at the reservation counters due to passing of limit time allowed for cancellation, it should be given up at the station and a ticket deposit receipt should be collected from there only.
The ticket deposit receipt or the TDR should be sent to the following office for the processing refund.

The electronic reservation slip or the e tickets cannot be cancelled at the regular reservation counters of the railway. The ERS can only be cancelled online at the site from where it has been booked.
