Charminar Express is a famous train that connects Chennai and Hyderabad.

Charminar Express No. 2759 runs from Chennai Central station to Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. This is a train that runs on all days of the week. This train consists of 1st AC, 2nd AC, 3rd AC and sleeper berths. This train leaves its source station, Chennai, at 6.10 PM and reaches Hyderabad at 8 AM on the 2nd day of the journey. This train takes 13 hours and 50 minutes to complete its journey. Fare for 1st AC is Rs. 1876, for 2nd AC is Rs. 1119, 3rd AC is Rs. 823 and sleeper berths are Rs. 312. This is a Super Fast Train.

Charminar Express No. 2760 runs from Hyderabad to Chennai. This is a daily train that consists of the same seating arrangement as described above. This train leaves Hyderabad at 6.30 PM and reaches Chennai at 8.15 AM. This overnight journey is covered in 13 hours and 45 minutes. Like Godavari Express, this train too was one of the first trains to be fitted with 24 rake coaches.
