Hi this is jefrey.....i complete diploma my paraents forced me to join in dmi engg college chennai.....what can i do... Am already tell my parants this college is not have on campus..also they are asking management fee much....how can i convenice my parants.
there is no on-campus
there is no on-campus facility in our college. worst infrastructure , worst canteen , 99 % of the girls are beautiful rest of them are studying in our college.

Worst college in the area of
Worst college in the area of Chennai i believe. They are extracting 17,500 Rs additional fees other than Govt prescribed fees. If we ask them the details, they are simply saying it is other charges and they wont give a bill for the same. I got a seat for BE Mech Lateral entry thru counseling and I did not join the college becoz of my blender mistake of worst college selection. When I came to know that the college started the Mech Dept just from 2009, I realised that i did great mistake on the selection. However, I have made a complaint with DOTE on the college. I hope no action will be taken on the college.

Hey i am alumni of DMI college of engineering. The informations given above Tickles me to laugh. I am of 2009 passout. Things i see odd in the info above.,
1) They don't have good lab's, no equipments work in the lab properly. We students use to Test the working conditions of the equipments over there.
2) Canteen awesome thats a Himalayan comedy. You can't Sort what kind of food it is.Even i have taken many cockroaches and bugs from that.
3) Auditorium can accommodate only 300 students. I have heard that they are building a new one.
4) Hostels are ok kind. but the provided there is not good.
5) Library is good. But they don't have many international journals.
6) No software companies had ever held an on-campus in DMI college only BPO, KPO's comes there, especially slash support. I have seen them twice (2008 and 2009). But they will send you to Half campus.
Don't think DMI to be a big one. Compared to other low colleges its ok kind
and in four years i'll rate for 3.5/10
