Dish TV the satellite television of India provides a number of services and facilities for its customers. Though it has various advantages it also has various disadvantages. Users who have installed the Dish TV had to face certain problems
Following are the given Dish TV disadvantages:
• The set top box provided by the Dish TV is Chinese product which is not of that good quality. As the set top box is not of good quality signal problem thus are likely to arise causing relaying of bad picture quality.
• The Zee channels are not always available on Dish TV properly. Zee channels are not always there in all the packages.
• During the stormy days and nights the signal goes out. The programs relayed become hazy and unclear. The satellite network easily gets disturbed because of clouds, fogs, rains or storms.
• The customer care services are though said to be present for the user’s help 24*7 they are not always active. Once the network goes out or if some problem arrives it takes a lot of time to for the service. No emergency reliability is available in this service.
• The channels packages provide a limited number of packages. Not all the channels are available with each package.
• Another Dish TV disadvantage is that the user has to pay a certain amount for the local channels. The locals channels should be made free with each package but the channels are not free whereas people mostly demand for local channels.
• User need to pay for more equipment with the satellite television. If the user wishes to have reception in more than one television he/she will have to pay extra charges for extra equipment.
