Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test is the gateway for entry into various professional courses offered in Government/Private Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. EAMCET is conducted by JNT University on behalf of APSCHE.

*The candidate shall be of Indian National.
*The candidate should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the academic year for which the admissions are being conducted.
*Std XII Science stream (Passed)from any University.
*Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
*The Candidate should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions.

==Application Procedure :==
EAMCET forms can be submited in two ways, Online and Offline submission. For onine submission the candidate have to fill the data in the online form and then uploading the scanned image of the bottom portion of their filled application form. For offline submission the candidate have to purchase the instruction booklets which can be obtained along with the application form through Post Offices and E-Seva Centres.

==Results & Admission:==
*Candidates shall be ranked in the order of merit in the EAMCET-2008 on the aggregate marks
* Rank obtained in EAMCET-2008 is valid for admission to the courses mentioned in the application form, for the academic year 2008-2009 only.
*The qualifying percentage of marks in the EAMCET-2008 is 25% (40 out of a total 160). For SC/ST no minimum percentage is required.

*Candidates will be sent to the counseling counters as per ranks.
*Candidates please ensure that all the details have filled before going to the counseling center.
*Candidates shall fill their options in the Option forms provided to them as per their priorities in the order of preference.
*Candidates ensures that the counseling staff has entered the correct information.
*After giving options, candidates have to wait till their name is called at the Allotment counter.
