Faculty of Law, University of Delhi is one of the finest law departments in the world, and is widely regarded as Asia's premier institution. The Faculty of Law was established in 1924. The Faculty of Law, Delhi University (DU) offers a three-year LL.B. course and a two-year LL.M. course.

Faculty of Law, University of Delhi Admission Procedure:

L.L.B (3-year full time programme): The admission is on the basis of an entrance test based on legal aptitude and general knowledge.
L.L.M : The admission is based on an entrance test containing objective type questions with multiple-choice answers in 7 different fields of law. The intake of students for full time programme is 30 students every year and that for 3-year part time programme is 35 students.

Faculty of Law, University of Delhi Eligiblity:

Graduate/ PG degree with 50 per cent marks for general candidates. SC/ST candidates need to have a graduate/ PG degree with pass marks while CW/PH candidates need to possess a graduate/PG degree with 45 per cent marks.

Faculty of Law, University of DelhiHostels:-

There are twelve hostels for male and female students who are pursuing full-time courses in the University. These are:
Gwyer Hall,
International Students House,
Jubilee hall,
Mansarovar Hostel,
Post-Graduate Men's Hostel,
University Hostel for Women,
Meghdoot Hostel,
D. S. Kothari,
V. K. R. V. Rao Hostel,
International Students House for Women,
North East Students House,
W.U.S. University Hostel.

However, hostel facilities will be available only to Campus Law Centre and LL.M. 2 year course students

Faculty of Law, University of Delhi Campus life:-

Teaching and examinations at the respective Centres are conducted under the control and supervision of the Professor-in-Charge of the concerned Law Centre. The Faculty presently has a total strength of 80 full time and 14 part time teachers.

The Faculty Library The Faculty of Law Library has a rich collection of books, journals and periodicals.

The faculty journals The Faculty has been publishing a journal titled "Delhi Law Review" since 1972 and law Centre-II a journal titled National Capital Law Journal since 1996.
