G.I.C Officers' Exam is conducted by General Insurance Corporation of India (G.I.C) for recruiting personals in Assistant Administrative Officer post. Exam notification is published in employment news and all other leading newspapers. Exam is conducted in month of February every year.
G.I.C Officers' Exam Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidate can be minimum 21 years old and maximum 30 years old on 1st of October on the year before the entrance examination (February year). However there is some relaxation in upper age limit given to reserved category like SC /ST / OBC /PD students / Ex Servicemen / presently permanent employees of GIC.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent and should have obtained minimum 50% marks as aggregate in graduation. However, for SC / ST candidates minimum marks required in graduation are 40%.
G.I.C Officers' Exam Selection Procedure: GIC Officers’ entrance test consists of two parts:
• Written Test
Written test will be an objective type test (multiple choice questions) which will focus on : candidate’s logical and mental reasoning ability, English language, general knowledge etc.
Interview: candidates who qualify the written test successfully will be called for interview where candidate’s personality will be judged.
Candidate’s selection will be purely based on the rank of candidate in written test & performance in interview.
Note: initial pay for selected candidate’s in G.I.C Officers' Exam will be approximately Rs. 8000/- per month.
