Gagan Ajit Singh

Gagan Ajit Singh was a striker in the Indian hockey team. He was born on 9th December 1980 in Ferozepur, Punjab. Gagan made his International debut against Russia in 1997. IN the same year he scored 27 goals in the Junior Nationals for the Air-India Academy. He also became the highest scorer in the for Air-India in the all-India Gurmit Singh tournament and the Jawaharlal Nehru tournament.
Career of Gagan Ajit Singh
He was the member of the Indian hockey team that played in the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. In 2001, Gagan Ajit led the Indian junior team to a fabulous Victory at the Junior World Cup, which was held in Hobart, Australia. In 2002, he was named in the All-Asian men's hockey team. He was awarded the Arjuna Award in 2003. At present Gagan Ajit is playing for Hoofdklasse in the HC Klein Zwitserland league which is in Netherlands.
