Government Engineering College which is situated in Raipur is an autonomous college affiliated to the University of Ravi Shankar. The college has been established with the view of creating a fine balance between study, play and extra-curricular activities. The college was previously located in Madhya Pradesh (present Chattisgarh) so was affiliated to the University of Madhya Predesh.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility Criteria for Government Engineering College

Applicants have to appear for a written entrance exam. The name of the exam is PET. The candidates who belong to SC or ST class are given an age relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit. They also get reserved seats. The college also has reserved seats for NRI students.

The aspirants have to secure a minimum of 55% marks in there Higher Secondary
Examination or its equivalent. He or She should cross the upper age limit of 21 years as on the date of the admission.
