Government Engineering College Jabalpur

The Government Engineering College, Jabalpur is situated in Gokalpur in Ranjhi, Jabalpur in the state Madhya Pradesh. It is also popularly known as Jabalpur Engineering College. It was established in the year 1947 as the Government Engineering College. The college became an autonomous college in the year 1998. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal and is approved by AICTE.

The College offers four years Undergraduate Course in different streams which include Computer Science & Engineering; Electronics & Tele Communication Engineering; Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial production and Engineering. The college also offers Post Graduate programs in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecom Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics. The college also offers MCA program.

The admission to the college is made through AIEEE and the entrance examination conducted by the state. For admission to the masters degree one has to qualify the GATE examinations.
