Guwahati Airport

Guwahati International Airport or Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport is the only other airport after Kolkata Airport catering to both domestic and international passenger traffic of North Eastern region of India. It is officially called Borjhar Airport. This airport is named after the first CM of Assam and an important Indian freedom-fighter, Gopinath Bordoloi. Airport Authority of India manages this airport. Guwahati Airport is also an air force base.

Travelers should try to reach the international terminal at least 3 hours before the scheduled flight timings and domestic terminal at least 2 hours before flight departure to board the flight on time.
