The Hampi Festival takes place in the 1st week of November in Hampi, Karnataka. The main significance of the celebration of the festival is the royal heritage of Hampi with the highlighting features like dance, drama, music, puppet shows and fire works. Organized by the government of Karnataka this festival starts from 3rd November and continues till 5th November. Hampi was once the capital of Vijaynagar Empire but now it is a ruined city.
