The Hanuman Mantra goes like this-
Sriramdootam saranam Prapadhye.
Through this prayer the people say that they are offering themselves to Lord Hanuman who is considered to be the representative of the God Ram. They say that Hanuman was the son of the wind, which was why he had such incredible speed and his mind worked as swiftly as the wind as well. They also believe that Hanuman had complete control of all his senses and could employ any one, or all at anytime needed. He was considered the most intelligent person in the Ramayana, even above the wise men of that era. He was also called the king of the monkeys. They end the prayer by proclaiming Hanuman, who was Lord Ram’s messenger, as the greatest and dearest Lord.
