The process of application for duplicate Birth Certificate:
An individual is able to avail a duplicate Birth Certificate as the state in which he is born keeps a record about the birth details in its office. It takes a very short time to get a duplicate birth certificate on submitting the required information and documents. But it takes a longer time to get a duplicate copy of the birth certificate for exceptional cases like people who are born during the early centuries from 1900 – 1910 because this information may have been stored in the historical records and it is going to take a long time to get or avail the required information to issue the birth certificate.

The first method for application of birth certificate is to go in person and fill in the required application form at the municipal office from where the person was born and pay either in cheque or money order along with your photo identification.
The second way is get an application form from the public health department in your birth country, fill in the details mail it along with the payment to the same office.
The third way is to apply through fax.
