How To Apply For Duplicate Degree Certificate

Due to unforeseen event a student may lose his certificate. If you were a student of University of Pune then in such a condition instead of running from pillar to post you should know exactly what to do to get a duplicate of your certificate.

Who is eligible?

A degree certificate holder is eligible for a duplicate certificate.

What is the fee?

The form for duplicate degree certificate can be obtained from the University Publication Section against a charge of Rs. 20/- for non-professional courses and Rs. 30/- for professional courses.
The fee for getting a duplicate certificate for non-professional course is Rs. 365/- and for professional course is Rs. 485/-. This fee has to be deposited with the university branch of Bank of Maharashtra. The fee can also be paid through demand draft in favor of the Registrar of University of Pune. The draft is only payable at Pune. Along with the amount, a lot of documents have to be submitted. If the student stays abroad then Rs. 150/- has to be paid for postage.

Documents to be submitted

The student has to submit photocopy of his final year’s mark sheet. He has to mention information like his full name in English, his postal address, college or institute’s name, the examination name, his special subject, the year and month in which he appeared for the exam, his registration and convocation number and the date of convocation.

The duplicate degree certificate is sent to the candidate subsequent to one month of applying for the same.
