The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) was established in 1999, as a center of excellence in Information Technology and allied areas. The institute was conferred the "Deemed University" status by Govt. of India in the year 2000. The institute is designed meticulously on the Penrose Geometric Pattern which is further topped by fine landscaping.

IIIT Allahabad Admission Procedure:

Admission to B.Tech. programme is on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

IIIT Allahabad Hostels:

The hostel has capacity to accommodate 240 male and 60 female students. The institute also has 40 rooms and an air-conditioned guest house to accommodate faculty members and other visiting faculty members. The institute has separate buildings for accommodating men and women students.

IIIT Allahabad Campus Life:-

The INDEM (IIITA Network Development, Engineering and Management) represents the Network/System Admins in IIITA. A joint for the innovative technical minds of the institute. The Club organizes various technical fests from time to time to keep churning the Techi-minds.
