from the last four month is all day same as "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time"

I applied for issue of a new passport at Jammu on 28.12.2011 bearing file no A013230. My police as well as CID verification was done and the same has been forwarded to Passport office on 22.01.2012. But the status on website still shows that the police verification is still pending.

I had applied for renewal of passport at the Mumbai Worli office on 23 Jan,2012.My file went to the MIDC police station for verification on 25th Jan and my police verification was completed on the 4th.I called up the 1090 number on the 9th of Feb and was told my file had been received at the CID office on 7th of Feb.However when I called back 2 days later,they said file was still at MIDC police station.On checking with police station,they showed me the register which showed a signature by CID and receipt date for my file as 7th of Feb.It has been a week since then and my file is not traceable at CID office or police station.Can someone please help with how I can trace my papers since nobody seems to have them?I was scheduled to fly out of India on 20th Feb and now I cant..

I Mohammed Ashraf from Air Force Station Bidar applied for the pass port on 13 Apr10 by application no.-BngW04137010. The police vrification also comleted on 18Jan11. And the aplication is dispathed to Reasional Pass port Office Bangalore on 25 Jan11 by speed post No.-EK640514226 dt25Jan11by the Police Commiosioner Bidar and status shows on internet that it is delivered to regional office on 28thJan11 whereas you are closing my file on 18thFeb 11 how it can be possible.But on 19 Feb11, I have seen the status on passport website of my aplication, it is showing that your file is closed. Please do the needful for me and issue me a passport as soon as possible.

I have received my new passport(applied under damaged passport in tatkaal)b but police verification is pending. Now I need to send my passport for VISA stamping but I am worried that can my passport be cancelled now also and if that happens then I would be in big trouble if I get my VISA stamped on cancelled passport.
Can anyone help me and suggest if there is any possibility that passport can be cancelled after it was delivered to the recipent.
And shall I get my VISA stamped and travel before waiting for this to get resolved. Thanks.

I and my wife are holding passport and as we traved our pages are almost over and there are hardly any free page for Foreign country to fix Visa on it so I want to know how we can get more pages in our old passport or we have to apply for new passport or any other procedure if required please let me know so that we can do the same.
