Goddess Lakshmi is said to be the goddess of wealth and Kubera is known to be the heavenly treasurer of her. For this reason, the worship of lord Kubera and Goddess Lakshmi is said to be highly beneficial for those people who wants to have financial prosperity.
The Navagrah and Dasa Dikpalaka homam are performed after the traditional Ganesha and Kalash puja. Then it is followed by the recitals of Kubera Moola Mantra, Lakshmi Moola Mantra and homan and it is recited 1008 times. The ritual must be done with the help of priests and the devotee must mention their name as well as their wishes.
The best to worship Kubera is said to be between October and November 15, according to Tamil Month. The day that is considered to be the most sacred for Kubera Lakshmi puja is Thursday. If anybody wants to achieve their goals then the individual must worship the god of wealth and material for forty-eight days. Apart from this, the person must also do the chanting of Kubera sloka 108 times every day.
Lakshmi Kubera Yantra
This is worshipped to attain prosperity and wealth and for this reason the yantra need to be placed in the room where pujas are done. The yantra need to be worshipped daily by chanting the Moola Mantra which is “Om Shreem Hreem Im Kubera Lakshmiai Kamaladharinyai Dhana Akrashinyai Swaaha.”
The main mantra of Kubera Lakshmi puja is as follows: “Rajaadhi Rajaaye Prasagna Sahiney Namo Vayam Vai Shravanaaya Kurmahey Samen Ka Maan Ka Mahaa ma yamagnam Kaameshvaro vai Shravanothadhatu Kuberaaya Vai Shravanaaya Mahaaraja Yenamaha.”
Sri Lakshmi Gayathri mantra
Sri Lakshmi Gayathri mantra is also used in this puja and this stated as, “Om Mahadeviaisa Vidmagahe Vishnu Patneeysa deemahee Thanno lakshmi prachothyyath Samen Ka Maan Ka Mahaa ma yamagnam Kaameshvaro vai Shravanothadhatu Kuberaaya Vai Shravanaaya Mahaaraja.”
