LIC Aam Admi Bima Yojana
LIC Aam Admi Bima Yojana is a prominent plan of the governments at Central, State or the Union territory and is managed by LIC in order to bring some relief in the life of those rural landless household who struggle in their everyday life and they face more difficulties when the future of the family is uncertain.
The Nodal Agency is appointed in this LIC Aam Admi Bima Yojana plan to take over the administration of the scheme which shall mean the State or the Union territory government. In each and every matter regarding the scheme, this nodal agency act on behalf of all the insured members.
The persons eligible for the scheme are identified and covered by the State or the Union territory government along with the consultation from the Panchayats. The beneficiaries are identified by issuing an identity card by the LIC to all the members of the scheme with a unique identity number.
What the eligibility criteria to become a member of this scheme?
The following are the eligibility criteria to be a member under this LIC Aam Admi Bima Yojana scheme.
The member must be between 18 to 59 years of age.
The member must be the head of family or else he/she should be an earning member in the rural landless household family.
What are the age proofs that needs to submitted?
The age proof to join as a member of this LIC Aam Admi Bima Yojana plan can be provided by means of submitting any one of the following.
Ration card,
Extract from Birth certificate,
Extract from School certificate,
Voters list,
Identity card.
Alternatively, a certificate received from the Primary health centre will also be accepted as the authentic age proof.
