MNNIT or NIT Allahabad

The foundation stone of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) the erstwhile Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College was laid by former Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on June 26,1961 with the joint efforts of Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is often called as NIT Allahabad and is considered to be one of the best NIT of India

NIT Allahabad Admission Procedure:

Admission to the undergraduate programs is based on the rank obtained in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination [AIEEE] conducted by the Central Board Of Secondary Education (C B S E ) New Delhi.

NIT Allahabad Eligibility:

• The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.
• The number of attempts which the candidate can avail at All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination shall be limited to 03(three) uniformly for all the candidates in consecutive years.

MNNIT Allahabad Hostel:

There are seven Boys and two Girls hostels at present in the Institute. The capacity of boys hostel is 1800 (1044 single seated rooms and 252 triple seated rooms ) and that of girls hostel is 145.

MNNIT Allahabad Campus

Gymkhana is a student governed organization that cultivates leadership, encourages students to participate in outdoor activities, and provide facilities for games and sports. The Student's Club provides facilities of indoor games (Table Tennis, Carom, Chess etc.) to all students.
