Mangalore university is the state university accredited at the 4 Star level by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University has 25 Post-Graduate Departments on the Campus, two constituent colleges, 4 law, 13 education, 5 autonomous and 119 affiliated colleges/institutions.

Mangalore University is the firs university in the country to start Bachelor's degree programmes in Hotel Management, Fashion Design, Garment Design, Leather Design and Human Resource Development and Post- Graduate programmes in Computer Software and Yogic Sciences. Variable Energy Microtron Accelerator facility, installed in collaboration with CAT, Indore and BARC, Mumbai is available for Research in Radiation Physics and interdisciplinary areas.
Has 13 Endowment Chairs on areas like Banking, Rural Development, Yoga, Environment, Literature, Fine Arts, Culture, Religion and Regional languages.

I have taken my law degree

I have taken my law degree from SDM Law college,Mangalore.(5 yr course)1993 - 1998 Batch. But I have not received my original Law degree certificate. What I got was provisional certificate (valid for 6 months) from Mangalore University. Can I request for Degree certificate now & whom shall I contact for this. I am settled in Qatar.Can anybody advise me the e-mail ID of the person in University who can deal with this..
