Manthralayam

Manthralayam is Located in Kurnool district of AP and is in Andhra Pradesh – Karnataka State border . The temple is dedicated to Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamy , the Hindu saint who is also considered as reincarnation of Bhaktha Prahalada ,the son of Hiranyakashap . Swamy Brindavan and samadhi at Manthralayam is famous and has many devotees deciples in every corner of the world . Tungabhadra , the tributary of River Krishna flows through this place .Temple follows the strict rules of dress , allows only Indian attire for ladies and dhoti for gents

Samadhi in the temple was built around 300 years ago . Chariots carrying the deity around the temple is a must to watch which will held in every evening . Panchamukha anjaneya swamy temple , Venkateshwara swamy temple are rich in excellent architechture and sculpture .
===Alampur Sangameshvara Temple :=== This Historic place is on the banks of the beautiful river Tungabhadra is replete with ancient monuments particularly with those of Chalukya era . 9 shiva linga temple and Jagadanba temples are also very famous in Alampur .

It is well connected place from all major cities in India like Hyderabad , Mumbai , Bangalore , Chennai etc .
It is 250 kms from Hyderabad , 700 kms from Mumbai , 600 kms from Chennai , 400km from Bangalore .

There is a railway station Manthralayam Road which is 16 kms away from manthralayam and Raichur railway station is 35 kms away .
