Review of Maruti Suzuki DZire CRDi

This is a the least expensive diesel sedan in India. Based on the Maruti Swift platform this variant has a CRDi (common rail direction injection) engine. The CRDi is silent and accelerating it you feel its a petrol engine, such is the refinement. The dials on the dashboard are chrome platted give it an up market appearance while the speedometer glows in white hue & tripmeter illuminates with orange. The highlight of the interiors make it stand a cut above the others. Fully integrated stereo system fitted into the classy dashboard along with remote control, steering mounted audio controls, automatic climate control. The automatic climate control option allows you to choose the temprature of your choice and the on-board computer matches the temprature as desired. To ensure the safety in case of an accident there are dual airbags. None of the cars in its class have steering mounted audio controls allowing to choose your music and change radio bands right on the car's steering. The Hyundai Verna is its nearest competitor but the DZire CRDi beats it hands down in the price while the overall package, handling and refinement of the Hyundai Verna CRDi is exceptional.
