Minimum Balance in ICICI Account

ICICI bank offers different types of savings accounts with different terms and conditions. These accounts consist of certain features like inward remittance, tax exempt entities, higher interest rates on term deposits and loans against deposits, debit card facilities for senior citizens. The minimum balance in ICICI account depends on the respective type of saving account. This bank provides some other conveyances like facilities of money multiply, free internet/mobile banking, bank authority issues e-pass books to its customers, interests which are half yearly payable. ICICI bank provides three categories of saving accounts namely A, B, C.

Following are the minimum balance in ICICI account according to the respective accounts:

• For A category the minimum balance in ICICI account is:  This account is a regular type account.  Applicable for all cities in India.  Minimum AQB is Rs 5000.  Applicable interest rate is 3.5%.  ATM cum debit cards is allowed to use. • The minimum balance for B category account is:  This is a regular type account.  Applicable for semi urban and urban branches.  Minimum AQB is Rs 2000.  Rate of interest applicable is 3.5%.  ATM cum debit cards is allowed to use. • For C category the minimum balance in ICICI account is:  A regular type account.  Applicable for some semi urban, rural and other below branches.  Minimum AQB is Rs 1000.  Applicable rate of interest is 3.5%.  ATM cum debit cards is allowed to use.
