Mumbai is one of the important metropolitan cities of India. In fact, it is called as the commercial capital of India. It is basically located in the state of Maharashtra and was formerly known as Bombay. The city of Mumbai is made up of seven islands, namely Colaba, Wadala, Mazagaon, Old Woman's Island, Matunga-Sion, Parel, and Mahim.

Another important place to visit is the Prince of Wales museum which was constructed to Honor Prince of Wales on his first visit to India. The other popular religious place to visit is the in Mumbai is the mosque at Mahim and Mosque at the tomb of Haji Ali.

Chowpatty beach is the must seen tourist destination as it enables the tourists to experience the real Mumbai more closely.
The important places to visit from Mumbai are the Pune, Aurangabad, Matheran, Lonavala, and Khandala.

The city of Mumbai is also known as the Las Vegas of India as it offers an amazing nightlife to tourists. Mumbai has several nightclubs, discotheques and restaurants which can make tour in the city quite a memorable one.
