National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University of Law Entrance Exam

National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University NALSAR conducts the Common Law Entrance Test for the students seeking admission to the 5 years integrated BA LLB (hons) programme. The main objective of the institute is to provide quality education to all its students.

Eligibility

B.A. LLB (Hons)

  • Candidates who have cleared the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum score of 50% marks.
  • Candidates appearing for their final exam are also eligible.
  • Candidates should be less than 20 years of age.

LLM Course

  • Candidates should have a LL.B/B.L degree or equivalent from any recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks

The application form may be obtained from the designated branches of of Indian Bank or by post. Candidates can also download the form from the official website

Exam details

B.A LLB (Hons)

For B.A LLB (Hons) the entrance test includes questions on general knowledge, reasoning and legal aptitude, general English and comprehension, questions on current topics and essay writing on current topics.

LLM Course

The entrance exam consists of essays to be written on general topics, constitutional law and Jurisprudence within 2 hour duration containing 200marks.

Admission details

Admission is done on the basis of merit of the students and performance in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
