Eligibility[edit]

  1. MFTech (Management)
 * A three years Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities or Diploma inAccessory / Fashion Design / FIT from NIFT only.
 *For foreign Bachelor’s Degree, not recognised by the Association of Indian Universities, proper certification by a National Body constituted in the country concerned for granting equivalence will have to be produced.
  1. MFTech (Apparel Production)
 * Same as Management.
  1. BFTech (Apparel Production)
  • The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi with Physics, Chemistryand Maths. OR
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the advanced (A) level with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. OR
  • Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. OR
  • A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Or
  • 3 or 4-years diploma recognised by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education (Engineering background). Candidate must be pass in Physics, Chemistry & Maths.
Note that the upper age limit for applying in bachelor programmes is restricted to 23 years as on 1st November, 2007.

  • The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. Or
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. Or
  • Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in Foreign countries recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system. Or
  • A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects. Or
  • 3 or 4-years diploma recognised by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. Or

  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. Or
  • Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in Foreign countries recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system. Or

  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. Or
  • Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in Foreign countries recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system. Or

How To Apply:[edit]

The Prospectus can be obtained by hand form selected branches of AXIS BANK across the country on payment of Rs. 250/- (the list of selected branches is available on NIFT website). Prospectus can also be obtained by hand for Rs. 250/- or by post on payment or Rs. 350/- by way of demand draft in favour of NIFT payable at New Delhi form the following NIFT Campuses. The filled-n Application form along with the examination fee of 1,000/- (in case of general category) and Rs. 500/- (in case of SC/ST /PhP) may be sent to ‘The Project manager CMS, All India Management Association, Management House, 14, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003. The candidates, who wish to apply online, are required to log on to www.inftindia.com for detailed instructions.Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PHP categories are required to submit a certified copy of their caste certificate with the filled in application form.The seats reserved for SC/ST/PHP candidates exits as per Govt. of India requirements.

Sir my name is V Vasanth Kumar residing at 404, 4DM 4 D Main Road 2 Block Kalyananagar Bangalore - 560043. My original caste is Kuruba but i have been taken the facility from the government having stated that my caste is AADI DRAVIDA since 30 years. i have been facilitated all the facilities from the government without any queries. i have to continue the same thing for my two daughters without effecting any to my family members. please treat this matter as urgent and get clarified to this with ur members
