NIT Trichy

National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli or popularly known as NIT Trichy is a joint effort of the Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu, was established in 1964 with a mission to impart best technical education to the students to make up the manpower shortfall in the technology sector of the country. It has also been granted the status of a Deemed University and is registered under Societies Registration Act XXVII of 1975. It is often considered as Top NIT in India

NIT Trichy Admission Procedure:

Admission to the undergraduate programs is based on the rank obtained in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination [AIEEE] conducted by the Central Board Of Secondary Education (C B S E ) New Delhi.

NIT Trichy Eligibility:

• The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.
• The number of attempts which the candidate can avail at All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination shall be limited to 03(three) uniformly for all the candidates in consecutive years.
