The National Institute of Technology conducts the MCA Common Entrance Test for the candidates for admission to MCA courses.

==Eligibility==
*A candidate should have a Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years in any discipline with Mathematics at the (10+2) or at the Bachelor's level and also should have a minimum score of 60% aggregate marks.
*Those candidates who are appearing at the Bachelor's degree examination are also eligible.
*A candidate should be Indian National.

==Exam Pattern==
The entrance exam will be for a duration of two hours and consists of 120 multiple choice questions. Each correctly answered question carries FOUR marks and each wrongly answered question invites NEGATIVE ONE mark.
