NIFT is one of the most renowned institutes teaching fashion design and technology. It is responsible for shaping some of India’s best fashion designers. The institute is so popular that it has centres in all the major cities in India.
The Head Office of NIFT is situated in Hauz Khas near Gulmohar Park in New Delhi and this is where one can get any information one may require about the institute’s history or the centres in other cities.
There are also NIFT centres in Bengaluru at Sector 1, 27th Main Road, HSR layout. At Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh the centre is at Kolar Road at the MP Bhoj Open University Campus. In Chennai it is at Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Taramandi. In Gandhinagar the NIFT campus is on G-HO Road behind Info City. NIFT in Madhapur, Hyderabad is opposite Hi-Tech city. At Kangra in Himachal Pradesh the campus is housed at the Old Govt. Polytechnic Residential Campus. At Kannur in Kerela it is at Thottad, Kizhunna-Post. In Kolkata, Sector iii of Salt Lake City is where NIFT is located. In Mumbai it is at Kharghar, Plot no 15, Sector iv. In Patna NIFT is on the 2nd floor of Udyog Bhayan, opposite Gandhi Maidan. At Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh the campus is in the ITI Premises of Doorbhash Nagar and at Shillong in Meghalaya it is in the C-Block of the Pasteur Hills in Lawmali.
NIFT also has an international centre located at Royal Road, Arsenal in The Republic of Mauritius.
