North Button Island National Park was set up in 1979 and spreads over an area of 44 sq.kms in the Andaman district. The suitable period for visiting this park is December to April.

Mount Harriet National Park is located in the Andaman district covering an area of 47 sq. km. The park was established in 1979 and is 20 km away from Port Blair which is the nearest town and airport. The fauna of the park is primarily Andaman wild pig. The best months for visiting the park are January to March.
Marine National Park was set up in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands at a distance of 20 km from Port Blair which is the nearest town and airport. The park covers an area of 281 sq.km. The Park is spread over 15 islands of the west coast of South Andaman. Each island has distinct vegetation of evergreen forests and mangroves. Its shores are nesting grounds for 5 species of tropical sea turtles. The coral reefs and associated coral fish attract many tourists. December to April are the best months for visiting the park. Saddle Peak National Park started in the Andaman district in 1979 and covers an area of 33 sq.km. It is 5 km from Diglipur the nearest town and 200 km from Port Blair, the nearest airport. It has thick tropical rain forests and humid, warm and wet tropical climate. The fauna of this park comprises of Wild pig, Water monitor, Lizard, salt water Crocodile. The best period for visiting the park is November to March. There are two rest houses available.
