Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation recently leased Osmanabad airport to Reliance Airport Developers Ltd for 95 years. Reliance paid Rs. 63 crore for the deal, which includes other four airports of Maharashtra. Deal permits Reliance to maintain airports of Yavatmal, Nanded, Latur, Osmanabad and Baramat. This deal will bring good to these airports, which authorities find it difficult to sustain.
