The e-Return Registration Status of the PAN application should be tracked. The 15 digit Acknowledgment Number should be used to track the status of the application of a new PAN or PAN card reprint or Correction or changes in PAN after 3 or 4 days after it is applied.
If the payment is made with a Credit Card:
• Use the 12 digit transaction number to track the status.
•The mode of payment should be changed to Cheque/Demand Draft, if credit card payment is not successful, and then it is regenerated & acknowledgement receipt is printed within 30 days of the date of application.
