Part time management degree is a degree which can be completed by an individual after passing out from their high school. Mainly students who get employed pursue these part time management degree courses. Some of the management courses are foundation course, BA Business Management etc.

Foundation Degree

Foundation degree is an undergraduate course. Foundation Degree in management gives opportunity to choose either accounts or management line. It offers a certificate and accounting, management and work skills. It also enhances IT skills along with the development of mathematical and decision making skills.

Course Duration

It is a three year part time management degree course. The academic session begins in January while the rest of the two years begin in October.

Course Contents

A candidate is required to complete eight modules, in first year two modules are to be completed and three in the rest two years. The final year of a part time management degree course allows a candidate to choose either accounting or management pathway.

In first year the subjects are Management Studies and Personal Development, mathematics and Statics for Social Scientists and IT in Practice. Second year contains Introduction to accounting, management Studies and Quantitative Methods. While, in the third year students can choose from management and accounting.

BA Honours/ business Management

These part time management degree courses are designed for the people who wish to get a degree along with their full time job. It is beneficial for the students who could not continue their studies due to some problems and wish to improve their qualifications.

Course Duration

It is a three year course consisting of six semesters. A part time candidate is required to study one, two or three modules in each of the two semesters. Mainly evening classes are held for the part time students who attend the classes after their job. Six hours of study is needed for each module.

Course Structure

The modules for part time management degree courses are categorized according to credit level. The course is structured such that credit level 4 & 5 are compulsory. Credit level 6 consists of optional modules. Credit level 4 should be done before credit level 5.

Admission Procedures

Applicants for such part time management degree courses are considered individually on the basis of qualifications. Candidates under 21 years of age are considered according to their nature of work while senior candidates are considered according to their work experience.
