My DOB is 02-Aug-1981

I applied my renewal passport in September 2011. Along with renewal, I requested to update it with my spouse and child's details, Residence details and surname which was changed after marriage as per Indian tradition. I have given all the proofs including my marriage certificate, DoB proof, Residence Proof, and other required documents.
There is no status update since then.
I had to go find out personally that police verification is not done so went to Police station and caught hold of SP who visited my residence and finally did the verification.
Now that the Police verification is done and still the online status is shown as "Police Report Not Received", I have gone to RPO, Hyderabad (waited in queue from morning 5 AM) and found out that police report was received. But so far passport is not delivered. I submitted a letter to PRO reg my passport delivery and came back.
Could you please let me know what went wrong or how to escalate and follow it up as it is mandatory to hold a valid passport in TCS, organization I am working with. I need it very urgently. I wrote so many mails to grv.jscpv@mea.gov.in but never got any response.
I am feeling as if this whole process is harrassing me to great level...It was difficult to roam around offices and police and passport office employees, being a mother of infant and a working woman.
Kindly help me in this regard and do the needful. Please someone tell me what can I do.

Hi, I applied passport for my son 3 months back, Passport officer put the passport on hold due to absence of spouse name either in mother's or in father's passports.
Now I would like to apply for Misc. "Application Form 2". Do I need to take an appointment online, I didnt see the option in Online form.

I, Praneeth Dixit, an applicant for passport renewal, requesting your help to expedite the procedure for issuance of passport. I have applied for renewal of passport on 4th of march,2011 after full verification and correctness of documents, attested and verified by the verification officer/personnel. I am yet to have police verification done. I checked on the website (for police verification), and contacted the passport office and appropriate police station, going there physically to check on the issue. Both say that the file has not been sent to police department for verification from the passport office. It came to my notice that the passport office has not forwarded the application file to police department for verification which is the first step after document verification. I am awaiting the police verification process. Kindly expedite the verification and passport delivery process. My permanent address is in Hyderabad too which is on file.
