The regional passport office in Mumbai is the biggest regional passport office in India. Mumbai passport office is one of its region and the areas under its jurisdiction includes Mumbai and Greater Mumbai, Districts of Aurangabad, Beed, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg in Maharashtra and the Union Territory of Daman & Silvassa.

Office Timings and submission of applications at Passport Office in Mumbai
The RPO Mumbai provides tatkal service between 10 am to 12 noon. With this scheme, one can obtain quick passport in case of emergency.
The Mumbai passport office is in two branches in Mumbai, the main office is at Worli, Mumbai and the branch or annexe passport office is situated at Prabhadevi area of Mumbai. The submission of application forms are accepted in Hall 1 of Prabhadevi branch between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm; these applications include applications for ordinary channel for the issue of fresh, re-issue, duplicate in lieu of damaged or lost passports as well if there is a need for additional booklet for the your passport.
Hall-2 of Prabhadevi branch takes application for all the other miscellaneous services mentioned above; and the timings for these are between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm. The offices are open from Monday to Friday and are closed on weekends and public holidays.
