Pearl Academy of Fashion Entrance exam

Pearl Academy of Fashion(also known as PAF) is one among the most reputed Fashion and Designing institutes of India. The institute has been set up by the Little People Education Society and promoted by the Pearl Global Limited, one of India's largest apparel groups.

The main objective of the institute is to train professionals with a comprehensive range of cognitive and intellectual skills, planned to develop across a wide range of learning experiences. The institute conduct an entrance examination, Pearl Academy of Fashion Entrance Exam for admission to its 4 year under graduate degree programmes and 2 year post graduate programmes which is followed by an interview. The entrance is usually held in the month of June/ July.

Eligibility:

10+2 Pass in any discipline, with minimum 50% marks.

Exam Schedule

General Proficiency Test for FMP and FRM course would test the knowledge of the candidate's proficiency in language (comprehension, vocabulary and expression), mathematics of 10th standard, logic etc. The General Proficiency Test would be of 1 hour duration.
Candidates desiring admission in FD, TD, JD and CD need to take the Design Aptitude Test (DPT) in addition to the General Proficiency Test (GPT). The Design Aptitude test examines the candidate's proficiency in perception, illustration, drawing visualization, color etc.

Application Procedure

The Prospectus and Application Form will be available at the Academy’s counter in the month of April for UG Programmes and in the month of October for PG Programmes.
The application forms and prospectus for admission to various undergraduate courses at Pearl Academy of Fashion can be obtained by sending a request along with a crossed demand draft of Rs. 1150/- made in favor of "Pearl Academy of Fashion" payable at New Delhi. One can also procure the application forms and prospectus from the Academy's counter against cash payment of Rs. 1000/-. There are two separate application forms, one for Post-graduate programmes, and the other for Under-graduate programmes.

• For PG students: The completed application form must be accompanied by Admit Card; Acknowledgement Receipt; AIMA – MAT declaration form (Applicants eligible for waiver of GPT); crossed Demand Draft / Cash in favour of Pearl Academy of Fashion payable at New Delhi.
• For UG students: The completed application form must be accompanied by Admit Card; Acknowledgement Receipt; A crossed Demand Draft / Cash in favour of Pearl Academy of Fashion payable at New Delhi.

Admission is based strictly on merit, judged from your performance in the written examination, group discussion, situational test, and interview, as applicable.
