Rudra Pratap Singh is a young left arm pace bowelr from Uttar Pradesh. R.P Singh was born on 6th December 1985. He has a short career in the indian team but considering his performances he may have a long stay as a fast bowler for india. R.P Singh is an out an out pace bowler and is not at all renowed for his batting prowess.

R.P Singh's Career So Far
R.P singh first came into the limelight when he picked up eight wickets in the under 19 world cup in dhaka. Consistent performances in the Ranji Trophy where he played for Uttar Pradesh saw R.P get selected in the national squad in 2005. In only his third ODI R.P managed to get a man of the match award against Sri Lanka. In that game R.P had career best figures of 4-35 in 8.3 overs. R.P Singh has since then picked up 53 wickets in 40 ODI's so far. In tests too, R.P has done reasonably well picking up 40 wickets in just 13 test played so far.
R.P Singh in T20 World Cup
R.P Singh emerged as a national hero in the recent triumph of the 20-20 world cup. After having a relatively inexperienced side, Dhoni had just R.P singh and Sreesanth to rely on in the bowling department. R.P emerged as the second leading wicket taker in the competition taking 13 wickets in the competition including a match winning 4-13 in 4 overs against hosts South Africa.
