Red Fort also called as Lal Qila was built by Shah Jahan in the year 1648 is the magnificent looking building which is still attracting millions of tourist from across the world. Red Fort was named because it was built fully with red sandstone. Red Fort Delhi has wall extending 2kms and has 18mts of all in length. Red Fort consist of two main gates, one which faces the Delhi Gate and other is the Lahori Gate which takes the visitor to the most crowded market.

By Road: There are state transport that runs from various states around Delhi. Also DTC provide the bus service to reach this site.
By Rail: Delhi is the hub of country and trains from all parts of country halts in this capital. There are express trains that halts in this capital and visitors can reach Red Fort. Visitors can book their tickets from IRCA in Pahar Ganj.
